Commonly Searched Moonkin Terms
If you guys have noticed, I don’t have a blogroll or many blogs actually linking to my blog, yet this blog receives a pretty decent amount of visitors on a daily basis. Still, I have over 100+ RSS subscribers (thanks guys!).
Of the total visitors received to this site so far this month, 65% of them come from Google, so I think its always fair to provide an easy way to answer their searches. Below is a screenshot of this month’s current keyword sources, and I will try to address them one by one.
- Moonkin Hit Cap – The moonkin hit cap is 263/341, depending on your raid build. There is already a separate post covered regarding this.
- Moonkin Glyphs – I meant to get around to writing a more concise guild on the major and minor glyphs you should use as a raiding druid for maximum pew-pewage. My posts on Level 80 Moonkin Glyphs is still pretty accurate, but an updated post is needed. For the majority of you deathkins out there, you should use the IS/MF/SF Glyphs for raiding.
- Moonkin Spell Rotation - The moonkin spell rotation is currently (pre-3.1) Wrath to Proc Starfire, and Starfire during Eclipse CD. You should be keeping up your DoTs the majority of the time.
- Moonkin Spec – As of now, I use a 55/0/16 moonkin spec for WoTLK raiding. It seems to work well for me at my gear level.
- Most of the other search terms are variations of the above. I will hopefully finish a page on some moonkin glyphs, and figure out if there are any more I should add.

Moonkin Glyphs is actually what I googled and stumbled across your blog lol. Great work, so keep it up!
@Fear.Win – Yeah, I don’t have many other blogs linking to me, I think its pretty much just your blogroll (thanks!), Resto4Life’s blogroll, and a mention in a WoWInsider post.
So I tend to focus a good bit on what’s coming in from Google.

Question: Is the extra damage from 2T7 IS bonus + IS Glyph worth putting into rotation?
@ Aju – Yes. You should always be using IS even without the 2PC bonus, IMO, especially on fights where there is movement or downtime.

Spell rotation. MF, IS , WRATH till eclipse starfire for 42sec renew dots wrath till eclipse and starfire for 42sec etc
